How it works

Submit. Assigned to a partner. They recover.

Debt Collection UK is an introducer. Partner agencies carry out the recovery. We are not a first-party collector.

  1. 1

    Submit

Complete the three-step form and upload the unpaid commercial invoice. B2B claims only.

  2. 2

    Assigned to a partner

We review the file and route it to a vetted UK (or specialist international) partner agency suited to the debt type.

  3. 3

    They recover

The partner contacts the debtor, typically starting with pre-legal demand. Recovered funds are paid to you under that partner’s terms.

Your statutory rights

Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

When another business fails to pay for goods or services, the delay is not a courtesy issue. Qualifying commercial creditors may have statutory rights under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 — including statutory interest, a fixed sum of compensation per overdue invoice, and reasonable recovery costs.

Those rights belong to the creditor. They are not a promise that we, or a partner agency, will collect. Read the Act on legislation.gov.uk: Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Before court, B2B claimants should follow the Practice Direction — Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols. Partners typically start with a Letter Before Action. We do not publish recovery rates.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does this service cost?

Submitting a claim through this portal is free. There is no upload fee. Once received, the claim is assigned to a specialist partner agency. Most partners operate on a no-collection, no-fee model: their commission is taken only if they recover funds, and you agree their terms before they start.

How long does the debt collection process take?

Timing depends on the age of the debt, the quality of your paperwork and the debtor’s position. Timing depends on the age of the debt, the quality of the paperwork and the debtor’s position. Some files are recovered; some are not. Recovery is not guaranteed.

Will using a debt collector damage my business reputation?

We introduce claims only to partners that are expected to act professionally. They should behave as an extension of your credit control — firm, documented, and without harassment. Your brand remains yours; you can pause or withdraw instructions with the partner if the relationship requires it.

What should I upload?

Provide the debtor’s legal name, the amount owed, and a copy of the unpaid invoice (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB). Company number, invoice date, contracts, purchase orders and email trails all help. Consumer debts are not accepted.

Is this for consumer debt?

No. This portal is strictly business-to-business. We cannot help with consumer credit, personal loans, household bills or debts owed by private individuals in a personal capacity.

Are you a debt collection agency?

No. Debt Collection UK is a trading name of PASECOM GROUP LTD. We introduce B2B claims to independent partner agencies. Those partners carry out recovery. We are not authorised by the FCA. We are not a law firm. A specialist partner agency is assigned to collect.
